Addition of database marketing agency strengthens Semcasting’s position in the regional banking, retail and energy services industries

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – (November 11, 2014) – Semcasting, the leader in advanced data solutions for audience targeting, announced today it has acquired The Marketing-Grid, a leading mid-market advertising agency that serves the regional banking, retail and energy services, real estate and B2B industries. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.The Marketing-Grid has been a long time partner of Semcasting. The company played a key role in the introduction and adoption of the Semcasting Smart Zones™ platform. The Marketing Grid has successfully been using Smart Zones with a range of clients. As a result of this acquisition, Semcasting will add an important new channel for promoting the Smart Zones solution to mid-market regional banking, retailers, energy companies, real estate and B2B clients. Semcasting will work with the leadership of The Marketing-Grid to build out a regional solutions team to spearhead additional mid-market outreach.
